Sanctions / enforcement: ADGM FSRA regulatory alert dated 14 April 2026: MaskEx (maskex.com) falsely displays an 'ADGM Category 3C Money Services Business Licence' banner; FSRA states the firm has never been incorporated, licensed or granted a Financial Services Permission in ADGM. Homepage and /terms, /about-us pages returned only marketing copy — no operating entity, company number, jurisdiction or licence disclosure was found anywhere on the site. Secondary reporting (2023) says Dubai's VARA granted MaskEX an 'initial approval' to prepare for a UAE launch; an initial approval is not an operating licence and no MaskEX entry could be confirmed on a VARA licensed-firm register. The ADGM FSRA alert is the decisive finding: the ADGM licence claim on the site is false per the regulator. Kodex LE portal and compliance mailbox come from our sheet and could not be re-verified on the live site — treat as unconfirmed. Web search budget for the session was exhausted before the VARA register could be checked directly.
